Encryption vault
Your file is encrypted and made available to you as a download right away – our server never gets to see it. Free, no registration, use it as often as you like.
How it works
- Choose your file below and click "Encrypt".
- Your file is encrypted automatically – usually just a few seconds.
- You immediately receive your key (shown only this once!) and the encrypted file for download.
- Store the key and the file in a safe place – you'll need both together later to decrypt, as often as you like, without contacting our server again.
Detailed guide
What happens to my file?
Your file is never transmitted to our server or any other server. There is no upload, no intermediate storage, no object ID, and no operator access.
Forensically secure
Since your file never reaches our server, there is nothing there that a forensic investigation – by us, authorities, or anyone else – could ever find. Without the key, the encrypted file is unreadable to anyone, even with specialized equipment or software.
Exchanging secrets with others
The vault is great for exchanging confidential files with friends or contacts: encrypt the file here, send the encrypted file to them via any channel (e.g. WhatsApp, Telegram, email) and share the key with them separately. They can then open the file on the decrypt page – no account or installation needed. This makes it easy to securely exchange things like passwords, confidential documents, or other secrets.
Important for real security: never send the encrypted file and the key together in the same message or via the same channel – share them separately, so that intercepting a single channel isn't enough.
This page uses no tracking and no analytics services. No metadata about your file is stored – not your IP address, not the filename, not a timestamp.
Without your key, your file is unreadable to anyone – including us.
